Intimate Puerto Rico Micro Wedding in Rincón | A Rainy Day Love Story at Puntas Stone Village

There’s something about returning to Puerto Rico that always feels like slipping into a slower rhythm… the kind that reminds you what truly matters.

This micro wedding at Puntas Stone Village was exactly that. Lee & Stephen didn’t come for perfection. They came for meaning.

The afternoon felt soft, unhurried. Quiet laughter while getting ready, the kind that doesn’t need to be loud to be felt. The ocean view, steady and grounding. Everything flowed — no rush, no pressure, just presence.

Their ceremony was intimate, surrounded by people who truly knew them. The kind of love you can feel in the air — not performative, not curated, just real. Everyone was genuinely happy for them, and that energy carried through the entire day.

Afterward, we made our way to Faro de Rincón.

The plan was sunset. Golden light. That dreamy horizon. But the rain had other ideas…

It poured on and off all day — the kind of weather that usually makes people anxious, worried about timelines, about photos, about “what it was supposed to be.”

But not them. Lee & Stephen embraced it all. And that’s where the magic happened.

A little salsa here and there, the best way to begin a marriage.

Wind, mist, soft skies — everything felt cinematic in a different way. Honest. Unscripted. The kind of beauty you don’t plan for, but end up loving more. We leaned into the moment, and somehow the rain became part of their story instead of something to work around.

Later, they celebrated at La Piña Rincón — surrounded by warmth, laughter, and that effortless joy that follows a day well lived. Sometimes, letting go of the expectation of perfect conditions is more than enough. Trusting that beauty exists anyway. Choosing connection over control.

They stand close, the sea’s breath cooling both faces. Pewter sky and low clouds only deepen their intimacy.

The beach is quiet, with colors charcoal and silver. Waves fold with patient rhythm, the world reduced to sound, breath, and the steady weight of two who chose this moment. No sunbeam, no perfect sky—perfection is how they look at the sea as if seeing their future, and at each other as if the storm can’t touch what matters.

Lee & Stephen were the kind of couple that reminds you: it’s never about the weather, the timeline, or the plan.

It’s about how it felt. And this day felt like love — simple, present, and deeply real.
